"Wow, your skin looks amazing!"

Updated: Nov 17, 2020

I love hearing this 💗 but it's not something I've heard very often throughout my life.

Actually, I didn't start hearing it until after my 47th birthday.

What do I do for healthy, smooth, glowing skin?

  • Drink plenty of water

  • Exercise regularly

  • Eat lots of fruit & veg

  • Limit processed foods

  • Limit alcohol

  • Don’t smoke

  • Get enough sleep (try anyway - see my blog on Sleep)

But, I've done this for years, so what's changed?

Well, let me introduce you to Frank!

Frankincense essential oil works at a cellular level ensuring healthy cell replication and reducing the appearance of skin imperfections. He is also wonderfully grounding, calming for your nerves and boosts your confidence. I've been adding Frankincense to my moisturiser since 2018 and I just don’t feel ready for the day unless I am wearing my beloved Franki.

Last year I also started using a super clean skincare range called Verage Skin Care Collection. It includes a cleanser, toner, hydrating serum and moisturiser. The hydrating serum is incredibly nourishing and contains some really precious essential oils that work to deeply hydrate and repair, such as Myrrh, Hawaiian Sandalwood, Helichrysum, Rose, Lavender and of course Frankincense.

Also last year, the amazing Yarrow|POM essential oil blend was released and I added this to my morning skincare routine. This is a magic dark blue blend that nourishes and plumps up your skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and giving your skin an incredibly healthy glow. I like to combine my magical Yarrow|Pom with my all time favourite, Frankincense.

Finally, I take a high quality bio-available daily supplement that nourishes my skin, hair and nails, supports all my bodily systems, aids with sleep and energy levels, and helps to manage my moods. It's called the Lifelong Vitality (LLV) pack.

How do I use them?

This is my daily morning skincare routine:

  • Wash my face with the Verage Cleanser.

  • Dry and then apply the Verage Toner to my face, neck and chest.

  • Apply the Verage Hydrating Serum to areas I want to target: my laugh lines, forehead stress crinkles, my upper lip (where I used to have dark age spots), my neck and chest (where I used to have lots of broken blood vessels).

  • With a small amount of the Verage Moisturiser in the palm of my hand, I add 1-2 drops of Frankincense and 1-2 drops of Yarrow|Pom, mix together then apply to my face, neck and chest.

  • With breakfast I take my high quality bio-available supplements: Lifelong Vitality (LLV), including Vitamins, Minerals, Omegas and Antioxidants.

PLEASE ensure you're using a super clean moisturiser when adding Frankincense, as he can pass through cell walls, which is wonderful as long as you are not using products with toxic synthetic perfumes or other chemicals.

Which products do I use?

doTERRA of course!
